On Cukor

In conjunction with the PBS American Masters film, director and editor Robert Trachtenberg sought to republish the book, On Cukor, which was originally released in 1972. It chronicles the work of famed film director, George Cukor, whose iconic filmography includes: The Philadelphia Story, A Star Is Born, Gaslight, and My Fair Lady.

Incorporating new archival photography and a larger format, its design reflects the visual sensibility of the director and the “Golden Age” of Hollywood.
